Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode and Doppler cardiac exams
Coordinate activities with interrelated hospital departments
Assist cardiologist while dictating exams by preparing and measuring M-modes
Respond to patients' needs during exams and report changes in patient condition
Order Echo supplies and maintain cleanliness of rooms
Log patients and exams, file patient records, and participate in improvement activities
Share responsibility for on-call coverage for emergency exams
Maintain quality control of equipment and examinations
Stay current on advances in Echocardiography and seek mentorship
Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed

Requirements of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation
State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
BLS certification issued through American Heart Association
High school diploma or equivalent and two-year allied health education program preferred
Two years of experience performing echocardiograms preferred
