Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech - Baton Rouge, LA Start: 12/08/2025 | ⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks Pay: $2,396 Gross Weekly Shift: Days 5x8 (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Location: 17000 Medical Center Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70816
Position Highlights • 2+ years IR experience required | Experienced travelers preferred • ❌ Unit will NOT accept first-time travelers • Certifications: ARRT + Louisiana State License, BLS, ACLS • Skills Include: Scrub, circulate & monitor Central venous access, PICC care/maintenance Ports, fistulograms/declots, thrombolysis, TIPS Paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy, biliary procedures Embolization, angiography (renal/mesenteric/pulmonary) Stent placement, biopsies, drain placements • Charting: Epic (preferred) • ⚙ Equipment: Fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, Ultrasound • Float: May float to Cath Lab as needed • Call: ~2 nights/week + every other weekend • Hurricane Policy: Must join facility emergency/ride-out or relief team if storms occur
