Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Echo Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel contract role in Santa Fe, NM. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, performing diagnostic echocardiograms on both adults and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology- Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.
- Coordinate activities with interrelated hospital departments including scheduling exams and patient transport.
- Assist cardiologists by preparing and measuring M-modes and providing pertinent diagnostic information.
- Respond to patient needs during exams and report any changes in patient condition.
- Order Echo supplies and maintain a clean, well-stocked workspace.
- Log patient information and exams, and file patient records accurately.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities and share on-call responsibilities for emergency exams.
- Maintain quality control of equipment and coordinate repair services when necessary.
- Stay current on advancements in Echocardiography and seek mentorship from cardiologists.
- Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed.
Requirements of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology- A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required.
- State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.
- BLS certification issued through American Heart Association.
- Two years of experience actively performing echocardiograms preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a two-year allied health education program.
