Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,502 per week in Miami, FL

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Rad Tech Profession: Rad Tech Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification Must-Have: - Neuro interventional experience - Vascular IR procedural experience - Knowledge of Cath Lab/IR protocols and procedures - High-level communication skills Description: The position requires a Rad Tech specializing in Interventional Radiology. The candidate must have neuro experience. The unit performs a full scope of interventional radiology procedures, including structural procedures such as TAVR and Mitra Clip. Other procedures include carotid stenting, peripheral arterial cases, and lumbar punctures. The staffing includes 1-2 RNs and 1-2 Techs per case, depending on complexity. Patient ratios are 1:4 in holding, depending on acuity. The role requires commitment to four ten-hour shifts per week. Monthly call shift burden is aimed to be 15, with a requirement to arrive in less than 30 minutes when called in. The department has received recognition as a level 1 trauma center and is known for being a well-run department with excellent leadership. Daily huddle calls are conducted to foster development of relationships among the team and with patients.
