Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in Interventional Radiology License: ARRT (R) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience ARRT (R) & BLS Description: This position is for a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist. The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Alternating hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM may be required. The unit consists of five Interventional Radiology suites. Staffing includes two Interventional Radiology Technologists and one Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse. On-call duty is required one night a week and one rotating weekend per month, with potential holiday coverage. The department is equipped with four Siemens Bi-plane systems and one Siemens single-plane system. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech, and imaging is managed by GE Centricity PACS. Candidates with expertise in neuro interventional experience, such as strokes, aneurysms, and SAH, are preferred. A strong knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures is necessary.
