Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Special Procedures Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT RT (R) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology Procedures with minimal guidance On-call required 1 night a week and 1 weekend per month with possible holiday coverage Description: This role requires a skilled technician in Interventional Radiology. The unit features five Interventional Radiology suites. Two IR Techs and one IR RN comprise the typical staffing ratio. Candidates will utilize four Siemens Bi-plane systems and one Siemens single-plane system. Familiarity with Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS is essential. Experience in Neuro Interventional procedures, including strokes and aneurysms, is preferred. The work environment is fast-paced and emphasizes teamwork. Self-motivation is key to success in this position. Dress code includes black scrubs; ensure compliance with unit guidelines.
