Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: 18 months experience required; 2 years preferred. Neuro experience is required. Seeking additional Cath/EP experience as candidates may be floated. License: ARRT and state license required. Must be nicotine-free. Certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS required. RCIS preferred in addition to the required certifications. Must-Have: On-call requirements: once a week and once every 6 weekends. Will float to all facilities within 20 miles. All time-off requests must be included upfront in submission. Travelers will be canceled if they fail the orientation tests. Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technician. Candidates must have neuro experience. The traveler should prioritize time-sensitive modules once confirmed for an assignment. The facility is smoke-free, and all travelers must be nicotine-free. All travelers are required to complete non-billable modules, which vary by specialty. The traveler must maintain sterile technique and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Responsibilities include room circulation, equipment setup, and performing various cardiac procedures. Travelers should be prepared to float to different facilities as needed. The candidate must adhere to all facility policies and procedures. References from direct supervisors or managers are required.
