Typical cases range from Joint Injections, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Lumbar Puncture, Nephrostomy and Cholecystectomy tube placements and exchanges, Abscess drains, port placements, biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, chest tube placements and more.

#Tier2 Travel Compliance
Augusta will not consider a traveler who was worked perm for Augusta within the past 24-months.
Candidates who live within 50 miles of facility are considered "local." Local candidates are not accepted.
RTO policy: If one holiday falls in the assignment, expect to work it; if two holidays, expect to work one; if three, expect to work two. Any RTO must be included in submission covers and in assignment confirmation documents.
General RN Orientation is every other Monday.
Allied/other professions (sterile processing, respiratory, radiology, etc.) can start on Mondays or any other day. Those areas don't have to go through the educators so start dates are flexible.
Augusta has a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy for THC.
Medical marijuana cards are NOT accepted.
Augusta requires a DS during compliance AND they will do their own DS on day 1.
Fit Testing is required. Per Augusta Health policy, travelers must shave for a fit test. If they want an exemption, they need a letter from a provider that is approved by the Employee Health Services team before they come onsite and are cleared to start/be compliant.
