Special Procedures/Unit Details : The Interventional Radiology Tech scrubs with and works under the direction of an Interventional Radiologist, performing Interventional Radiology procedures. Assist the Interventional Radiologist in all procedures done with accuracy, and professionalism. Handle confidential information and work professionally with patients, families, physicians, other departments, vendors, and equipment manufacturers. Responsible for charge entry and charge reconciliation. Be motivated to show teamwork, professionalism, respect, compassion, and kindness to patients and co-workers. Perform but not limited to: Uterine Fibroid Embolizations (UFE), Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE), Y-90, Abdominal Embolization (GI and Trauma), Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS), Venography, Portacath Placement, Apira Cath placement, Epidural Injections, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, joint injections, abscess drain (placement, check, and change), Tube changes (G, GJ, J, neph.), Perc Neph tube placement, Kyphoplasty, Para, Thora, Cryoablations, Bone Marrow Bx.

Recent EPIC experience is preferred but not required to submit

PASS FAIL TEST
at Orientation: Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test will be given on Monday (the first day of orientation). Travelers have
ONE
chance to pass. Pass/Fail testing required. Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test required for all units. Moderate Sedation Test required for OR, ICU, and Endo.
Compliance documents are due 5 business days prior to the traveler's scheduled start by EOD eastern time (starts are typically on Mondays but can also be on Wednesdays)
Candidate must go into the lab within 24 hours after signing
