Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 18 months of experience in specialty preferred License: Required Certifications: ARRT and state license, AHA ACLS and BLS; RCIS preferred Must-Have: Candidates may be floated to additional Cath/EP areas. Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs. Floating to sister facilities may be required. Description: The Interventional Radiology Technician position involves assisting in various interventional radiology procedures. Candidates should have a minimum of 18 months of experience in the specialty, with 2 years preferred. Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager. The position requires on-call availability. Previous experience with charting systems is necessary, as is proficiency in various interventional radiology skills. Skills such as Adrenal Angiography, Angioplasty, and Stent Placement are essential for successful candidates. Candidates should be prepared for a smoke-free environment and adhere to established policies. Compliance with vaccine requirements for COVID-19 and flu is mandatory. Candidates must possess strong communication and teamwork skills. References from direct supervisors are required for submission.
