Job Title: Echo Sonographer

Location: Santa Fe, NM

Pay: $2,150 weekly

Shifts: Days 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Echo Sonographer for a full-time travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients within an Interventional Radiology setting. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a critical role in patient care coordination and diagnostic excellence.

Key Responsibilities of the Echo Sonographer
  • Performs technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams
  • Coordinates activities with interrelated hospital departments
  • Assists cardiologist while dictating exams
  • Acts as go-between to deliver, pick up, and distribute dictations timely
  • Responds to patients' needs during exams and reports changes in condition
  • Orders Echo supplies and maintains cleanliness of rooms
  • Logs patients and exams; files patient records
  • Participates in departmental and hospital-wide Performance Improvement activities
  • Shares responsibility for on-call coverage for echo emergency exams
  • Maintains quality control of equipment operation and examinations
  • Keeps current on echocardiography advances
  • Assists with other cardiac procedures as needed

Requirements of the Echo Sonographer
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year allied health education program preferred
  • A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required
  • State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
  • BLS certification issued through American Heart Association
  • Two years of active echocardiogram experience preferred
