Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,619 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical Care Experience Procedural Area Experience Moderate Sedation Description: The unit has a team of 10 staff members. There are typically 3-4 Technologists and 3-4 Registered Nurses on the day shift. A Scheduler/Coordinator is also present. The patient ratios depend on the type of procedures performed. The equipment in use includes Discovery 740 IGS and EMR Meditech. The unit performs various procedures including biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, and peripheral vascular interventions. Paracenteses and thoracentesis are also conducted. Assistance with other imaging needs such as CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms is provided. Line placement is part of the responsibilities. Registered Nurses are not required to scrub cases. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, a self-starter, team-oriented, and possess a positive personality. 1-2 nights of call may be required weekly, along with 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends.
