Shiftwise Order Description: START DATE: asap BILL RATE: $96.14/local within 50 miles $80.00 FEES: OID: PCN 104115 MODALITY: IR Tech TYPE OF JOB ORDER: temp CONTRACT ISSUES: none, MSP CREDENTIALING prior Monday start REQUIRED SKILLS: ARRT; BLS; Travel exp preferred; 3-5 year's expThe Interventional Vascular Specialist II precepts new staff and students. They should have intermediate knowledge of x-ray equipment and troubleshooting. Job Duties: - Assists in more advanced procedures such as pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, FEVAR. - Able to assist with complex procedures; including multiple wire exchanges and able to use long wires and OTW balloons. - Should be able to use specialty devices such as laser, penumbra, Inari and shockwave. - Circulates, monitors and scrubs all Interventional Vascular procedures. - Troubleshoots imaging equipment collaborating with biomedical engineers for service. - Participate in procedural charging. Maintains supply management. - Able to act quickly under emergency situations. - Able to discuss with physician plan of action and assist with any high-risk procedures. - Cross-trains as needed to support departmental needs. Understands and works with x-ray system, including panning table and recognizing different angles. - Manages access site including proper removal of sheath, assessment of hematoma and knowledge of hematoma management. - Understands concepts of radiation safety. - Knowledgeable in vascular anatomy and recognizing different types of lesions. - Basic knowledge of supply features and applications to procedure. - Knowledge and adherence to sterile technique. - Able to communicate effectively with team, patients, families and medical staff. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Education: Graduate of accredited school of radiologic OR cardiovascular technology. 2. Experience: 1 year experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist. 2. Certifications/Licensure: Registered as an ARRT-R (with VI or CV credential) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required. # OF WEEKS: 13 SHIFT/HOURS:10 Days; 7a-530p Weekly bill/pay BILL GWW: N PAY GWW: N ON-CALL: Y; incl weekends and holidays EXPECTED HRS: 40 LICENSE: NOTES: please pre-close on pay, VI interviews.
