Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,666 per week in Spartanburg, SC

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Pending State License accepted; must obtain prior to starting Certifications: ARRT required Must-Have: - Ability to perform Interventional Radiology procedures. - Experience with Uterine Fibroid Embolizations, Transarterial Chemoembolization, and other related procedures. - Strong teamwork, professionalism, respect, compassion, and kindness towards patients and co-workers. Description: The Interventional Radiology Technician works under the direction of an Interventional Radiologist. Responsibilities include assisting in various Interventional Radiology procedures with accuracy and professionalism. Technicians handle confidential information and work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and equipment manufacturers. They are responsible for charge entry and charge reconciliation. The role includes procedures such as UFE, TACE, Y-90, abdominal embolization, and more. The technician is required to be on-call for 1-2 nights a week and every 5th weekend. Candidates must be prepared to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation tests during orientation. Compliance with attendance policies is mandatory. Recent experience with charting systems is preferred but not required. Previous travelers must not have been permanent staff at the facility before applying for this position.
