Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology/Cardiology professional to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to imaging and cardiovascular care. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic tests, assist physicians, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral (Applies to Both Radiology & Cardiology)
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Review patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate testing
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to emergencies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records (EMR systems)
  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients on procedures and post-care instructions
Radiology-Specific Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as:
    • X-rays
    • CT scans
    • MRI (if qualified)
  • Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images
  • Ensure proper radiation protection for patients and staff
  • Evaluate image quality and submit results for interpretation
  • Assist radiologists with interventional procedures when needed
Cardiology-Specific Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as:
    • Electrocardiograms (EKG/ECG)
    • Stress tests
    • Holter monitoring
    • Echocardiography (if certified)
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and report abnormalities
  • Support emergency cardiac care (e.g., during arrhythmias or cardiac events)
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field
  • Active state license (if required)
Radiology Roles
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (or equivalent)
Cardiology Roles
  • Certification such as:
    • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (for echo roles)
  • Strong knowledge of imaging or cardiac diagnostic procedures
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure clinical environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in hospital or outpatient clinical settings
  • Experience with advanced modalities:
    • Radiology: CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology
    • Cardiology: Cath lab, echocardiography, electrophysiology
  • Familiarity with EMR/PACS systems
  • Advanced certifications in specialty areas
