Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures work setting License: SC Radiology license Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system - Experience in IR and Special Procedures - Ability to float to other units as required Description: The position requires working a day shift of 5x8 hours. One night of call per week and every seventh weekend are required. The staff may be required to float to other units or campuses based on needs. Medications will be managed using the Omnicell system. The documentation system utilized is EPIC, and 1 year of EPIC experience is necessary. This role requires certification in ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS along with a valid SC license. Experience in Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures is essential. The unit is open to first-time travelers based on their experience levels. Staff must be ready to assist in maintaining equipment and inventory. All staff must demonstrate documented competencies to float to other areas. Modules may be required to be completed before starting. Reimbursement for spent time on modules up to a certain limit may be applicable. Travelers cannot extend a fourth consecutive contract and must convert to employee status after 39 weeks of work. Specific qualifications related to distance from the facility are also established. Any questions should be addressed with the appropriate management staff.
