Unit Details
2 Interventional Radiologists, 1 Neuro Interventionalist, 1-2 Vascular Surgeons, and 1 PA/NP per day. We are located in the operating room, there are 3 single plane IR rooms, 1 biplane and 1 hybrid room. Procedures are also performed in a radiology room and CT. Procedures- cerebral angiography including intervention, stroke intervention, angiography including intervention of all body parts except the heart, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venography including intervention, various biopsies using fluoro, CT or ultrasound, venous access (port, dialysis, central lines), gastrostomy, and various drains (biliary, nephrostomy, abscess).
