The interventional radiology area features three labs: two dedicated interventional radiology labs and one hybrid operating room. Ideal staffing consists of three to four team members, including two technologists and two registered nurses. Key equipment includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream. The documentation system used is EPIC Cupid. Scheduling requires flexibility with 10-hour shifts and call availability. ICU or ER experience is necessary for candidates. Procedures performed within this specialty include Permcath placement, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE treatment, stroke interventions, and trauma care. Uniforms are royal blue and black for radiologic technologists and navy blue and black for nursing staff.
