AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Interventional Radiology in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28210!

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure quality assurance of imaging and processing, and provide patient monitoring during procedures.


Minimum Requirements:

  • ARRT(R) certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology technologist experience required. First-time travelers will be considered.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • State radiologic technologist license for North Carolina required.
  • Experience or familiarity with common IR procedures preferred: embolizations (visceral/GI bleed, uterine artery, prostate, liver chemo), port insertion/removal, nephrostomy tube insertion, IVC filter placement/retrieval, biliary stent procedures, vascular stent placement, angioplasty, G/J tube procedures, PICC and central line insertions, transjugular liver biopsy, and sheath pulls.
  • Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of GI bleeds/embolization, nephrostomy tubes, IVC filter placement, and suprapubic catheter insertion preferred.


Assignment Details:

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 0700-1900.
  • Shift pattern: 3x12.
  • Department support: 3 techs daily rotating through circulating, scrubbing, and documenting; nurse support and radiologist availability.
  • EMR: Epic. PACS: Philips iSite.
  • Orientation: 1 day administrative onboarding; 2 days to 1 week departmental orientation as needed.
  • Float requirement: No floating to other facilities.
