Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: BLS, ARRT-R Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Confident clinical skill set. Description: The facility is a teaching hospital with trauma designation. It operates a chest pain center and a stroke center. The average number of patients seen per day is 25-30. The team consists of a lead tech, modality supervisor, and imaging manager. Team members have varied experience, from new graduates to long-tenured staff. Department equipment includes a Siemens single-plane, two Siemens bi-plane, and one Cannon bi-plane. No floating between departments is required. Travelers will not rotate shifts, ensuring consistency. On-call responsibilities vary, with a fair rotation among team members. Travelers are expected to help with holiday coverage unless prior approval is obtained. Shifts are determined by the current needs of the department. Scrub color for technologists is black.
