Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years in interventional radiology or CT License: Required certification to work as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist Certifications: ARRT(R); ARRT(R)(CT) or ARRT(R)(VI) or ARRT(R)(CT)(VI) preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2-3 years of experience in interventional radiology or CT required. Current X-ray skills required. Description: Schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role involves working in general X-ray, surgery, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, and CT. Candidates will be part of a team providing personalized care. The facility has a longstanding tradition of delivering adult and pediatric treatments combined with various medical specialties. This position requires a professional demeanor and a commitment to quality patient care. Personnel will utilize advanced equipment for patient diagnostics and treatment. Work will include use of interventional suites and fluoroscopy suites. Participation in an on-call rotation with one weeknight call and rotating weekend call is expected. The candidate must be competent in CT and interventional radiology techniques. The patient population includes NICU, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. A thorough understanding of imaging and radiation safety protocols is essential. Adherence to professional attire requirements is expected.
