Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required License: ARRT R Certifications: BLS, TMB Must-Have: Required to take call and rotational holiday shifts Experience with accessing and managing ports Experience with charting systems Description: Provide interventional radiology services in a clinical setting. Perform procedures such as angiography, embolization, and stent placements. Maintain a sterile environment during interventions. Collaborate with a team to ensure patient safety and effective care. Adhere to isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment. Maintain equipment and supplies for daily operations. Follow protocols for patient monitoring and care. Engage in ongoing education and training related to interventional radiology. Facilitate effective communication with patients and interdisciplinary team members. Document procedures accurately and thoroughly in the designated charting system. Demonstrate ability to work within a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
