Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Accepting candidates with 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Average daily census of 8 patients. Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems is required. Scrub color will be provided by the facility. Floating may be required within the facility/scope of practice. Call requirements are 10 days per month. The traveler is expected to work one major holiday if it falls within their assignment period. Description: Candidates will be reviewed clinically to determine fit. If a candidate passes and meets guidelines, they will be sent for a final decision. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met on time, the start may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. A maximum of 7 days of time off is allowed per contract. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. If one to two holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday time off can be requested. If three holidays fall during the assignment, one holiday time off may be considered. Onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents are due prior to the start date. Modules for compliance are non-billable. Hours for modules are factored into the total hours. Modules will vary by specialty. They will be recorded via transcripts.
