Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,843 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid State Radiography License required Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS Must-Have: Neuro interventional experience required. Experience with Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting preferred. Experience with line access such as port placements, PICC placement, and Dialysis Catheter Placement preferred. Description: This position requires neuro interventional experience. The technologist will work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Shifts will vary starting from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Weekends will require participation in an on-call rotation among staff members. On-call hours will be after 5:00 PM on weekdays and during weekends. The department is a Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department in a Level 1 Trauma facility. The technologist will encounter patients of all ages with various chronic illnesses. Daily census in the department ranges from 15 to 20 cases. The role includes interdisciplinary support from various teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy. Travelers should have experience with the EPIC charting system. Floating to other units may be required based on patient census and needs. Modules must be completed pre-start and are billable up to a certain number of hours.
