Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Required Certifications: ARRT R, MD State License, ACLS Preferred: ARRT VI Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. - Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Charting experience in Cerner required. - Local candidates must meet specific geographic criteria. Description: The role requires a certified Interventional Radiology Technician. You will be responsible for performing various interventional radiology procedures. Skills such as angioplasty, IVC filter placement and removal, and fluoroscopy are essential. You will maintain a sterile field and prep access sites for procedures. Charting is done using the Cerner system. Call duties are required during specified hours. The technician will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. The position includes working with adult and geriatric patient age groups. Daily tasks will involve technical procedures and patient management.
