The schedule is Monday through Friday with variable days off. Weekend call is required, which includes one weekday per week and one weekend rotation based on staffing volume. Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice, primarily to Cath and EP with required procedures. The unit accepts candidates who are first-time travelers. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to determine their fit. If candidates pass the clinical screen and adhere to guidelines, they will be sent to management for a final decision. Time off requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days. If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the candidate is expected to work. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time; delays can result in a push-back of two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted, and the same rate applies. Compliance with onboarding and core items/labs is necessary within a specified timeframe. Modules are non-billable and factored into the contract length.
