Special Procedures/Unit Details : Interventional radiology department that provides pre/intra/post procedure care for inpatient, ED and outpatient populations. See below for types of procedures performed. Staffing includes radiologists, midlevel providers, RN's, CNA's and technologists. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri from 0630-1800 and Sat from 0830-1700. All other hours are covered on call. Work shift hours are typically 8 hrs per day and shift start/stop times vary. Responsibilities include rotating holidays and on call.
Required: Nephogram, Kyphoplasty, Peripherals, Internal/external biliary drainage, Venous Access,
Preferred: brachytherapy, emoblization, LP/myelogram

Requires specific amount of exp. - Specific to Unit, some will take 1 year experience, will accept first time travelers
Valid State License - VA or Compact required with submission, Allied Varies (include in profile)
VA License needed for Radiology positions at any MIF location. (Temp license is fine for Stafford and Mary Washington Hospitals)
Submit copies of all required certs and current Nursys report

Travel pairs MAY be submitted, but must be on separate units and will not be guaranteed the same shift schedule
Contracted ICU staff may be assigned to non-ICU units as operational needs require and will assume the standard patient ratios for the assigned unit. The unit ratios at MWHC are as follows:
