Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,912 per week in Stockton, CA

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid license required for submission Certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: Experience with coronary procedures, balloon pumps, and Impella. Experience with peripheral and coronary circulation. Familiarity with Merge Hemo system is a plus. Description: Interventional Radiology department has 4 suites/labs. Average of 15-20 cases per day is performed. We use equipment from Siemens and Philips. A charge nurse is available during the day, and a circulating nurse takes over after hours. Evening and weekend call is required, with a response time of 30 minutes. Cardiologists and respiratory therapists are on standby 24/7. Ventilator support is available, with respiratory therapists present during necessary cases. The pharmacy is also operational around the clock. Common procedures include laser use, rotablator applications, nitric oxide administration, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet procedures. We receive and treat a high volume of STEMI cases each month. Candidates should be comfortable working with critically ill patients. Cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to 4 shifts within a 13-week assignment.
