Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,934 per week in Santa Monica, CA

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Required Certifications: Required ARRT, BLS, and State license Must-Have: Weekend availability is required. Call coverage is required for one weekday shift per week from 1600-0700. Coverage is also required for one three-day weekend (Friday to Sunday) per month. Friday shift is 1600-0700 and Saturday, Sunday shifts are 0700-0700. First-time travelers are accepted. Locals are accepted but pending licenses are not accepted. Description: This position involves performing advanced interventional radiology procedures. Technologists will also have responsibilities in the catheterization lab. An understanding of Epic charting system is necessary. The ideal candidate must be proficient in a variety of interventional radiology procedures. Skills required include accessing and managing ports, catheter exchanges, and central venous access. Experience with embolization, endovascular interventions, and fluoroscopy is also necessary. Candidates should be comfortable working with various specialized equipment. Maintaining sterile fields and proper inventory management is expected. Flexibility to float between facilities within a state may be required. All travelers should be prepared for holiday coverage and additional calls as needed. References from previous employment will be required. Candidates must disclose any relevant background information prior to consideration. Ensure that all certifications and licenses are current and valid. LA fire card is required if applicable. This role may involve non-billable training modules, which are to be completed prior to starting work.
