Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,949 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: South Carolina license preferred Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience, Clienttion badge provided by agency Description: AGENCY MUST SUPPLY RADIATION BADGE. Position/Specialty: Neuro IR Tech / Neuro. Daily caseload per technologist: 4-5. The shift is 5x8 hour shifts from 7 am to 3:30 pm. On-call requirement is every 5th weekend and one night per week. The radius should be within 30 minutes during on-call. No floating is required within the scope to meet facility needs. No floating to sister facilities is required. Travelers with 2 years of experience are preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Mandatory certifications include BLS and ARRT. All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. Approval for RTO will be based on departmental needs. The facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Travelers are to be aware of the possibility of assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. No prior permanent staff should return as travelers until after one year of separation. The facility will prioritize candidates with an active South Carolina license. Travelers must complete all compliance requirements timely to avoid delays in starting. All labs must be completed within specified time frames. Modules are non-billable and will take an average of 4 hours to complete. All module hours are included in non-billable hours and should be completed pre-start.
