Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,966 per week in Wichita, KS

Job Title: IR Tech Profession: Special Procedures Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current IR Tech experience License: Active Kansas licensure required Certifications: BLS and ARRT (R) Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience - Active Kansas licensure - BLS and ARRT (R) Description: Position available for a travel IR Tech. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call requirements for one weekend per month and one night a week. The unit features three rooms equipped with two Philips biplanes and one GE single. The team consists of two nurses and four radiologic technologists. Typical procedures performed include embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, spine work, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases. Candidates with prior experience in stroke cases are preferred. The ideal candidate should be flexible with change, able to handle stressful situations, and have a positive outlook. Patient care experience is a priority.
