Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,978 per week in Phoenix, AZ

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience required Description: The unit consists of 2 general interventional radiology suites, 1 spine interventional radiology room, and 2 neuro endovascular suites. Candidates should be familiar with EMR systems, specifically Cerner and PACS. Daily case load ranges from 5 to 10 procedures. Weekend work is possible, with some Saturday shifts required. Day shifts are available, typically from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. No call requirements are imposed. Candidates will not float outside of radiology. Common procedures include GI/GJ tubes, ports, angiograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, nephrostomy tubes, stents, IVC filters, and blood patches. Neuro experience is preferred but not mandatory, including endovascular procedures, embolizations, stenting, and stroke treatments. Candidates with specialized neuro experience will also be considered. Sedation cases involve 2 RNs and radiologic technologists scrubbing with the physician. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts for this assignment.
