Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,983 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required. License: State License required. Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI*, BLS required. Must-Have: Neuro interventional experience. Description: This position is in a peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Experience with stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, aneurysm stenting, AVM embolization, and carotid stenting is required. Line access procedures such as port placements, PICC placement, and dialysis catheter placement are essential. The department performs peripheral and body angiography. Candidates should have experience with interventional radiology, PACS, NICU, pediatrics, trauma, and emergency care. The daily patient census ranges from 15 to 20 cases. The department provides interdisciplinary support from various teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy. This role may require participation in a call rotation that covers after hours and weekends. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Modules may need to be completed annually prior to starting the assignment.
