Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology License: Required state license Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Neuro Interventional experience Description: This position requires neuro interventional experience. The department focuses on peripheral and neuro interventional radiology in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Candidates must possess ARRT R and BLS certifications, as well as the required state license. Experience with Epic is preferred, but not mandatory. The work schedule includes 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Shifts vary with start times from 7 am to 9 am. Weekend coverage is managed via a rotating on-call schedule among staff members. The on-call expectation includes weekdays after 5 pm and weekends. This role includes working with a diverse patient age range, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 15 to 20 cases. The position involves using specialized equipment for procedures such as Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, and Carotid Stenting. Candidates should have experience with line accesses like port placements and PICC placement. The department supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare teams. Floating to other units may be required based on census demands. Modules for compliance and training may be required to be completed prior to start. Travelers will need to meet certain eligibility criteria regarding location.
