Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Travel Opportunity
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90015
Pay: $3100/week
Shift: Days | 8-Hour Shifts (5x8s) + Call

We are seeking an experienced IR Technologist (ARRT-VI) to join a busy Interventional Radiology department. This role involves assisting in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, requiring strong technical expertise, sterile technique, and the ability to respond quickly in emergent situations.

• ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Certification – Required
• Active California License (CRT) – Required
• Fluoroscopy Permit (CA) – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• LA City Fire & Safety Certification – Required
• Minimum 2+ years of IR experience preferred

• Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Maintain sterile field and assist with scrubbing procedures
• Prepare patients and equipment for vascular and non-vascular interventions
• Monitor patient status during procedures
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
• Document procedures using Cerner EMR

• Team Size: 3 IR/Cath Lab Techs
• High-acuity procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to a variety of vascular and image-guided interventions

• 5x8-hour day shifts
• Call required (30-minute response time)
• Every other weekend (EOW) call rotation
• 1–2 weekends/month on-call
• Holiday rotation required (1 holiday)

• EMR: Cerner
• Must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities and rapid response
• Strong emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and procedural efficiency
