IR Tech - Days (M-F scheduled) w/ OCN/WKNDS - 40H
1YR strong experience with IR scrub/circ, prefers candidate also strong in Cath Lab as scrub; first-time travelers accepted with strong IR/CL scrub experience
Start Date: 10/5/26, or ASAP
Contract length: 16 weeks
Shift/Hours: 5x8 Days (08:00-16:30, Mon-Fri scheduled) w/ OCN/WKNDs after-hours
License/certs required: ARRT(R) state of MD license, BLS, ACLS required;
*RCIS will be considered (screen to manager)
Unit Flow/Case Volume: This is small IR Suite, but fast-paced with moderate to high volume. Staff must be proficient in their skills with types of cases in this care setting. All cases are scheduled Monday thru Friday, but the department/staff ae available for on-call, after-hours urgent/emergency cases.
Patient Age Range: Adult - Geriatrics
Common Patient Diagnoses: Abd ascites, pleural effusions, malfunctioning/thrombosed hemodialysis AVF/AVG, new/replacement/removal picc line/portacaths, biopsies
Special Equipment: Phillips Azurion C-Arm; endoflators; angioplasty balloons (varying brand/sizes); stents (varying brand/sizes); Tunneling HD catheters; Piccs/PortaCaths (varying brand/sizes)
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating: required within the specialty and cath lab suite with preferred cath lab scrub experience as needed
On-call: approx. 8-10 on-call shifts required per month, inclusive of nights/weekends. On-call/CB starts 31-minutes past scheduled shift time end (17:01) and is only for urgent/emergent cases.
Weekends: inclusive of on-call only, every third weekend on-call required for urgent/emergent cases only.
