Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,037 per week in Charlotte, NC

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required. Previous stroke certified hospital experience preferred. Traveler experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be accepted. Skills required include experience with interventional radiology and special procedures. Experience with specific equipment and maintenance skills is mandatory. Skills in abdominal and pelvic procedures are essential. Skills in genitourinary studies and procedures are necessary. Neurological studies and procedures experience is required. Experience in vascular studies and procedures is essential. Venous access skills are a must. Fluoroscopy equipment skills are required. Professional knowledge of infection control and sterile techniques is essential. Description: We offer contracts for experienced interventional radiology techs. Schedule includes 40 hours per week with weekend requirements every 6-7 weeks. There is a call requirement, with rotations including one day per week. Orientation and training are based on facility schedules. Missing any part of the orientation may result in a delayed start. The final start date will be confirmed before the start week. Daily census includes approximately 450, with an average of 20 visits per day. The unit is equipped to handle a range of special procedures including stroke intervention and embolization. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various angiography techniques and vascular access procedures. Professional skills in maintaining equipment and stocking supplies are required. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
