Job Title: Radiology Tech - Interventional Radiology Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required with neuro and scrub experience. Minimum of 2 years experience preferred otherwise. License: Allied Health licensure required. Candidate must apply for licensure within 72 hours of signing. Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS Must-Have: On-call required with a 30-minute response time. Scrub experience required. Neuro IR experience required. Description: Please ensure the candidate is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing the travel contract, the traveler accepts the above and will report as assigned by the unit manager if an emergency event occurs. Travelers should only apply if they are comfortable with the above expectations. Charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is a plus. Charting system experience, particularly with Epic, is required. Daily census in the unit is 30. The unit diagnoses include HCC, oncology, ALS, GI, sepsis, and neuro cases. Special equipment includes fluoroscopy equipment, ultrasound equipment, and various machines for procedures. Candidates must have experience in accessing/managing ports, performing angiography and embolization procedures, and maintaining a sterile field. The candidate should be familiar with patient care for neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates are expected to work weekends with specific call rotations. Pre-Approved Time Off must be discussed during the interview. Two manager/supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Resources who worked as permanent staff must be separated from previous employment for one full year before returning as travelers. Modules are completed during the orientation process.
