Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,105 to $3,305 per week in Winston-Salem, NC

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of IR Tech experience with references. Must include 2 years specific to IR Body/IR Neuro at a Level 1 Trauma Center (client requirement).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification or RCIS. (Client requires ARRT-R or RCIS.)
• Graduate from AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• BLS certification required. ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• State licensure for Radiologic Technologist in North Carolina.
• Experience scrubbing and assisting in IR procedures, circulating, operating imaging equipment, and providing supplies.
• Experience with Siemens, GE and Philips imaging systems and GE ultrasound units preferred.
• Experience working in an academic medical center or teaching hospital preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Department: Interventional Radiology, 8 IR-specific rooms; average 45–50 cases per day.
• Shift start time: 0800. Manager is open to 8-, 10- and 12-hour shifts.
• Typical shift patterns posted by unit: 3×12s (0800–1830), 4×10s (0800–1830), or 5×8s (0800–1630).
• Call: 3–4 call days per month. Weekend call approximately every 5th–6th weekend; weekend call runs from Friday ~1630 to Monday 0800.
• Holiday expectation: 75% of holidays.
• Orientation: Up to 2 weeks.
• Floating: No floating required.
