Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State license required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - PACS, biopsies, and contrast skills - Experience with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, drainages, abd & pelvis, upper/lower extremities, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram skills Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in an interventional radiology department providing pre/intra/post procedure care for patients. Candidates should have experience in various special procedures specific to interventional radiology. Daily caseload includes approximately 25 patients. Clinicians will be required to be on-call one day a week and one weekend in the 13 weeks. The staffing includes radiologists, midlevel providers, RNs, CNAs, and technologists. The interventional radiology department operates Monday through Friday. Some procedures may involve pediatric patients, so experience with adolescents is preferred. Additional preferred skills include brachytherapy and embolization. The position requires substantial equipment experience, preferably with Siemens equipment. Responsibilities will include rotating holidays and on-call duties. It is important to adhere to all requirements prior to starting the position, ensuring that all necessary certifications are obtained.
