Description:
Position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 09:00 to 17:30.
This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
First-time travelers are accepted if they have a minimum of 2 years of IR experience.
Weekend on-call requirement is 5-6 days a month, including one weekend per month.
Floating within the facility is required, but not to sister facilities.
Candidates should not expect a block schedule accommodation.
Local candidates are welcomed.
Pending licenses will not be accepted.
There is a maximum of 1 week for requested time off.
Healthcare providers may be directed to be on-call or called off during low census periods.
Responsible for various procedures, including central venous access, drainage, and vascular studies.
Equipment may include systems from specific manufacturers; screening may be necessary.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams will be essential.
The daily patient caseload ranges from 10 to 20.
The unit features 3 procedural rooms with adults and geriatric patients being the primary demographics.
Additional documentation and compliance training may be required prior to starting in the role.
