Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 months Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 12 months of interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath experience required License: Iowa Radiology license highly preferred Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath experience required - Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required - Cardiac Cath Lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting required - Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required - Peripheral vascular experience required - Active ARRT (R) or RCIS/CCI required - AHA or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS preferred Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Local radius rule: 50 miles. Employee separation policy applies to past employees. Holiday update: contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays. NBO is 16 hours. EMR used is EPIC. Call back is subject to a 2-hour minimum. On-call compensation is $9 per hour. Charge/precept pay is available. Unit information includes 25 cases per day. Most emergencies occur at a designated facility. Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring. Level I trauma experience is preferred. First-time travelers are welcomed. Professional reference check from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within the last 24 months is preferred. Driver's license is required. Iowa Radiology license issuance timeline varies if non-active. Active ARRT (CI or VI) is highly preferred.
