Unit IR Tech # of suites/labs 1 #cases per day on average 7-8 per day Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ARRT or RCIS IR certification Common diagnoses/Types of patients general body- tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y-90s, IVIS Job Duties Will have 1 tech scrubbed in, 1 tech circulating, and 1 tech in the control room Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have 2 years of IR experience- neuro experience not needed.
