Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab is required. Will be required to scrub and circulate, and have knowledge of sterile catheter procedures. Ability and willingness to assist RNs in the pre and post area as a second person is a must. Experience with pacemaker implantation and Interventional Trauma with Endovascular (catheter based experience) are both highly preferred skill sets.
Will take call one night per week and every other weekend. There is not a lot of call for this department but is required due to Trauma Center status. Need to live within 30 minutes of the facility due to call requirement. Department is closed on major holidays.
Charting: Meditech.
Scrubs: Scrubs are provided by surgery department, or may wear any color of professional scrubs. No other facility logos permitted.
Orientation offered Monday s only. Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then will head to the department to start orientation.
