Interventional
Procedural Technologist will support minimally invasive, image-guided
procedures. Responsibilities will include running all imaging equipment,
sterile scrub, and case circulating in the radiology and OR settings.Neuro,
Cardiac, or vascular surgery needed. IR experience: diagnostic and
interventional procedures including and not limited to angiography,
embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions,
paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access/fistula work,
Y90/SIRT experience.
Unit Description: Located
in the heart of Beacon Hill, MGH has one of the largest, most dynamic IR
divisions on the East coast. MGH IR staff technologists collaborate with a team
of nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and
tech assistants to provide a cutting edge multi-disciplinary approach to
patient care. MGH IR technologists cover clinical areas across MGH including
IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures,
Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions. The IR Technologist
supports diagnostic and interventional procedures including and not limited to
angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal
interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy. Required Education/Certification:
Candidates must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in Radiologic
Technology ARRT certification Valid Mass. State Radiography License BLS
certification
