Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience License: Must possess an active state license Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: Proficient in both peripheral vascular interventional radiology and neurovascular interventional radiology Ability to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases, including stents, angioplasty, and angiograms Experience with nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies Description: This position requires proficiency in performing interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have experience with various interventional radiology techniques, including stent placements, embolizations, and central line insertions. The role involves rotating through multiple interventional radiology rooms equipped with advanced imaging technology. Two technologists are assigned to each room, with one circulating and the other scrubbing. The department handles a variety of procedures, including level 1 trauma cases, vascular interventions, and neuro interventions. The candidate will be required to be on call every third or fourth weekend from Friday evening through Monday morning. Floating within the facility or to nearby facilities is required. Candidates must adhere to all compliance policies and must provide references upon request. The position is suitable for first-time travelers.
