Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT R Must-Have: - Experience in Interventional Radiology / Angiography / Special Procedures - Proficient in angiograms and venous access - Skills in biopsies and procedures involving fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound Description: This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. The role involves working with multiple Interventional Radiologists and surgical staff. There are three single-plane IR rooms, one biplane, and one hybrid room available for procedures. Common procedures include cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, Y90, and chemoembolization. Other responsibilities may include cryoablation, venography, and various biopsies. Technologists will assist in venous access procedures, gastrostomy placements, and various drain placements. The position requires on-call duties, anticipating approximately 5 to 7 days per month. Experience with C-Arms and catheter management is preferred. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center accommodating various patient cases.
