This role involves a wide scope of routine and advanced imaging procedures within a dynamic work environment. Candidates must be prepared for a heavy case load, on-call duties, and weekend work, typically every second or third weekend.

Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist- Perform a range of imaging procedures and support other technologists as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance
- Participate in ongoing education and adhere to safety and technical advances
- Ensure compliance with safety measures for patients and personnel
- Complete and maintain daily logs and periodic tests as required
- Collaborate with management and healthcare professionals to promote a positive work environment
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care
- Adapt care methods to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Ensure examination compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required
- State Licensure required - Texas: MRT by TMB
- BLS required (AHA only)
