Job Title: Neuro Interventional Angio Radiology Tech Profession: IR Tech Specialty: Periop Neuro Interv Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of at least one year in Radiologic/Interventional procedures or completion of an advanced imaging program License: Maryland Radiology License Certifications: ARRT (CV) or (VI), Current BLS via AHA, ACLS Description: Seeking a Neuro Interventional Angio Radiology Tech. Responsible for operating biplane fluoroscopy equipment to participate in neuro interventional radiology diagnostic and interventional procedures. Requires a Maryland Radiology License. Must hold ARRT (CV) or (VI) certification, as well as current BLS and ACLS certifications. Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures. Coordinate care in an assigned room and provide patient care. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. Education Requirements: Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, typically acquired in a two-year college or technical school program. Knowledge Requirements: Possess advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology within the specialty of Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology. Anticipate required supplies and imaging modalities. Correlate radiographic and hemodynamic findings with associated disease processes. Skills Requirements: Operate all radiographic and ancillary equipment across multiple disciplines. Possess knowledge of all guidewires and catheters. Demonstrate analytical ability to determine proper protocols for each modality. Perform specialized views for various modalities worked in. Utilize imaging techniques that provide diagnostic and complete information during procedures in all specialties. Exhibit effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal team performance and quality patient care.
