Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,314 per week in Charlottesville, VA

Job Title: Imaging Support IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 16:00 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant field preferred License: VA license required (pending licenses accepted) Certifications: ARRT and BLS required Must-Have: - Strong vascular/IR experience - Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures - Ability to work independently Description: Need for a tech to provide imaging support in the OR for vascular interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being actively involved in the entire case workflow rather than simply operating equipment. Responsibilities include pulling inventory and ordering cases in the system prior to procedures. Involvement in running the table and controls during procedures is essential. Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology. Engagement in the room throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images, is expected. Candidates will use a documentation system to record and manage inventory used during cases. Close collaboration with vascular surgeons, OR teams, and other members of the procedural team is essential. During downtime, the candidate will support simple surgical cases alongside radiology staff, including procedures like Impellas and cystoscopies. Hours include rotating call every fourth week. A 50-mile radius travel rule applies. Strong communication skills and teamwork are crucial for success in this role.
